Gazdag programmal indult az idei nyár a Gödöllői Szimfonikus Zenekar számára. Az elmúlt hetekben Gödöllőn, Budapesten és Pozsonyban arattak sikert, július 6-án ismét a kastélyban adnak hangversenyt, majd Bulgáriában ajándékozzák meg csodálatos muzsikával a zeneszerető közönséget. A Gödöllői szimfonikus Zenekar a kastély lovardájában mutatta be Mozart C-moll miséjét, a kaliforniai Berkeley Városi Kórussal, és a Gödöllői Városi Vegyeskarral közös előadásban.

A koncertet a gödöllői bemutató után Budapesten, a Szent István Bazilikában, majd pedig Pozsonyban, a Reduta Hallban szólaltatták meg nagy sikerrel. Az est karnagya Ming Luke, a Berkeley Városi Kórus zenei igazgatója volt. Július 6-án ismét egy különleges koncertre invitálják az érdeklődőket, amire ismét a lovardában kerül sor.

A Nyárköszöntő Hangversenyt a szecesszió jegyében rendezik meg, az összművészeti esten a zene mellett szerepet kap a költészet és a tánc, valamint az elhangzó művekről is bővebb ismertetést hallhatnak majd. Weiner Csongor és Tünde-szvitjét, Debussytől az Egy faun délutánját, Delibes Coppéliájából – a Prelude és Mazurkát,valamint Ravel La Valse című művét szólaltatják meg. A Csongor és Tünde, valamint a Coppélia szólótáncosnője a nemrég diplomát szerzett fiatal táncművész, Széphalmi Júlia lesz, aki korábban a gödöllői zeneiskola növendéke volt. 

Ezt követően július végén Bulgáriában ad hangversenyt az együttes, ahol a Balchik Klasszikus napokon vesznek részt. A fesztivált július 27. és augusztus 3. között rendezik meg, immáron negyedik alkalommal. A gazdag program mellett pedig már megkezdték a felkészülést az ősztől induló bérletsorozat előadásaira is. A szeptember 28-án induló, négy hangversenyből álló „Remekművek Gödöllőn” sorozatra július 14-ig lehet kedvezményes bérletet vásárolni a Művészetek Háza jegypénztárában.
