A Gödöllői Szimfonikus Zenekar a 2012/2013-as évadban is négy bérletes előadással várja a közönséget. Az idei programban is több évszázadot felölelő remekművek hangzanak majd el a Művészetek Háza színpadán. Az első hangversenyre október 13-án kerül sor, amikor is J. S. Bach III. Ddúr szvitjét, Haydn B-dúr miséjét, valamint egy ősbemutatót hallhat a közönség: Kovács Zoltán Erkel-díjas zeneszerző, fagottművész és karmester II. Fagottverseny című művét. Ez utóbbi ifj. Duffek Mihály fagottművész révén csendül fel.

Az előadás során közreműködik a Gödöllői Városi Vegyeskar, a Gödöllői Szent Norbert Premontrei Gimnázium Kórusa (karigazgatók: Pechan Kornél, Kocsis Csaba és Magay Judit), szólistaként pedig Szutrély Katalint (szoprán), Schöck Atalát (alt), Megyesi Zoltánt ( tenor) és Cser Krisztiánt (basszus) hallhatja a közönség. Az est karnagya Vashegyi György Liszt-díjas karmester lesz, aki 1993-ban végzett a Zeneakadémián Lukács Ervin és Gál Tamás tanítványaként. Ma már ő is a neves intézmény tanára, a magyar régi zene úttörője, 2000 óta a Magyar Állami Operaház karmestere.

A zeneművek között Zelinka Tamás kalauzolja majd a közönséget. A hangverseny után közönségtalálkozóra kerül sor a Művészetek Háza kávézójában. A beszélgetésnek több aktualitása is van, árulta el lapunknak Ferenczi Anna, a Gödöllői Szimfonikus Zenekar Alapítvány kuratóriumának elnökhelyettese. Eredetileg Kovács Zoltán már régebben bemutatott fagottversenyét tervezte bemutatni a zenekar, de a koncert műsorát, valamint a másik két műhöz rendelkezésre álló zenekari apparátust megismerve a zeneszerző úgy döntött, hogy új versenyművet ír a fiatal fagottművész számára, amit a zenekar örömmel fogadott. A beszélgetés koordinátora a gödöllői származású dr. Duffek Mihály zongoraművész, a Debreceni Egyetem Zeneművészeti Karának dékánja lesz, aki a '60-70-es években zenei klubot indított el városunkban, megalapozva ezzel a zene iránt érdeklődő felnőtt közönség hangverseny hallgatási igényét. Az esten Duffek Mihályt egyúttal 60. születésnapján köszönthetjük.
