Tisztelgés a királynő emléke előtt

A Barokk Kastélynapok kiemelkedő eseményeként Mária Terézia királynő emléke előtt tisztelgett a Gödöllői Szimfonikus Zenekar is.  A koncert egyben a „Híres Hölgyek Gödöllőn – 2012 a Nők Éve” rendezvénysorozat része volt.  A kastély lovardájában megtartott koncert első részében Mozarttól a Cosi fan tutte nyitányt, majd Haydn C-dúr oboaversenyét hallhatta a közönség,  Kurucz Orsolya oboaművész közreműködésével.

Ezt követően ismét Mozart egy műve, a Serenata notturna csendült fel, majd Haydn ritkán játszott műve, a Mária Terézia szimfónia zárta a hangversenyt. A zeneszerző 1773-ban, Mária Terézia eszterházai látogatása alkalmával C-dúr szimfóniájában örökítette meg az uralkodónő nevét, aki kedvelte Haydn műveit.

Ezt jól példázza, hogy a szintén ekkor bemutatott az Aki hűtlen, pórul jár című operája után a felséges asszony a következő szavakkal fejezte ki tetszését: „ha jó opera-előadást akarok látni, Eszterházára megyek”. A királynő számára azonban nem csak az eszterházai látogatások, hanem a gödöllői 1751-es tartózkodás is feledhetetlen volt, amiről városunkban 2001 óta, minden esztendőben megemlékeznek. A Gödöllői Szimfonikus Zenekart Horváth Gábor vezényelte.
